The bar/lever interface should be level to allow your wrists some relief when climbing out of the saddle. The old "rule" used to be use a straight edge along the bottom of the bars to align the lever tips. Just looking at his setup, something about the reach is wrong and he has angled the levers up to correct for this. As for cyclocross....we don't play that game over here ;)
Re "The Wost Pro Setup", what is wrong with that ? Popular cyclocross setup why can't it work for road ? Day goes ok given his setup :-)
